This is a moderate to challenging trek. It involves steep ascents, rocky paths, and high-altitude trekking. A good fitness level is recommended.
The trek takes 10 to 12 days, including travel time from Islamabad to Minapin and back.
The best seasons are Summer (June–August) and Autumn (September–October) when the weather is stable and the views are clear.
Accommodation includes:
Hotels or guesthouses in Minapin Village
Camping at Rakaposhi Base Camp, Diran Peak Base Camp, and Kacheli Lake
Summer: 10°C to 25°C during the day, dropping to 0°C at night
Autumn: 5°C to 20°C during the day, dropping to -5°C at night
Prior trekking experience is not mandatory but is highly recommended. A good fitness level is essential.

Yes, we provide experienced guides and porters can be arranged if a client requires them but it will have additional cost depending on the weight.
Mobile network coverage is limited after Minapin. Satellite communication may be available in emergencies.
We provide freshly prepared meals at campsites. The menu includes local and standard trekking meals.
We follow a proper acclimatization schedule, keep a steady pace, and encourage hydration. Our guides are trained to handle altitude-related issues.
Charging facilities are available in Minapin but not at higher camps. In higher camps our priority is to keep the necessary devices charged first. if possible phones can be charged depending on the situation. We recommend bringing a power bank or solar charger.
Yes, travel insurance covering high-altitude trekking is highly recommended.
