Tour Cancellation and Refund Policy
At Summit Experts Adventure Tours, we understand that travel plans may change due to unforeseen circumstances. To ensure transparency and fairness, we have outlined our tour cancellation and refund policy below. Please review the terms carefully before booking your adventure.

1. Sightseeing Tours
If you need to cancel your sightseeing tour, we offer a refund of your deposit amount, minus a 10% administrative fee. To request a cancellation, please notify us as soon as possible. You may also transfer your deposit to another products of Summit Experts tours within the next two years without any deduction in your deposit amount.

2. Treks and Expeditions
For treks and expedition bookings, the deposit amount is non-refundable. However, if you need to cancel, you can carry forward your reservation for up to two years from the original booking date.
• Rescheduling Option: You may transfer your deposit to another trek or expedition within the next two years.
• No Refunds: Due to the extensive logistical arrangements involved, we cannot provide refunds on deposit payments for treks and expeditions.

3. Cancellation by Summit Experts Adventure Tours
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, government restrictions, safety concerns, or insufficient group size. In such cases:
• Clients will receive a full refund or may opt for an alternative trip of equal value.
• If the cancellation occurs due to force majeure (e.g., political instability, pandemics, extreme weather), refunds will be processed after deducting non-recoverable costs.

4. Changes and Modifications
• If a client wishes to change their booking to a different date or tour, requests must be made at least 30 days before departure (for sightseeing tours) and 45 days before departure (for adventure treks/expeditions). Additional charges may apply based on the modifications.
• Changes requested within a shorter period (7-days) will be treated as cancellations and subject to the above refund policies if “we” are not able to entertain your modifications and changes.

 
5. No-Show Policy
• If a client fails to arrive on the scheduled departure date without prior notice, no refund will be issued.

6. Refund Processing
• Refunds will be processed within 15 business days of the cancellation request.
• Refunds will be issued via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
• Transaction fees, bank charges, and non-recoverable costs will be deducted from the refund amount.

7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal liabilities.
